The role is a senior-level position responsible with having a proactive focus on identification, planning, development, and delivery of strategic programs with specific focus on intake, demand management and delivery throughout the lifecycle supporting the success of the various programs the organization undertakes. This individual will help steward and support achievement of the strategic priorities while strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of organization wide processes and systems with a proactive risk mindset.

This individual will have the excellent communication skills required to influence and/or negotiate internally, often at a senior level. The role also requires the ability to determine approach and execution strategy of complex tasks across functions and use influence to direct others to meet or exceed desired outcomes. In addition, this person is also responsible for building robust internal processes, monitoring, and tracking that will enable proactive risk in support of the overall safety and soundness of the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Provide input during initiation, intake, development, and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of objectives, and support the necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Build and manage capacity planning, demand management and forecasting in support of the various programs within the organization.
• Establish and build relationships and partnerships across business, technology, and operational lines to serve as a trusted partner and effectively manage risk and safety & soundness items.
• Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions.
• Ensure that all work efforts related to safety and soundness are effectively tracked and reported while escalating and mitigating key risks.
• Demonstrate strong risk management acumen required for oversight, management and reporting of risk issues.
• Provide overall Applications support throughout the system lifecycle including Application ownership and delivery.
• Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Requirements:

• Keep abreast of industry trends. Effectively research and benchmark our technology against other competitors in the industry.
• Strong experience managing large complex programs.
• Capable of driving change across a large global organization through thoughtful planning, building productive relationships and ensuring accountability.
• Be creative and passionate, driven by a desire for innovation and creation of an amazing client experience – smart risk taking – outside the box thinking.
• Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
• Provide oversight of the Business-critical milestone reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Support functional operating routines to support the success of the organization.
• Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures.
• Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with a strength in presentation design.

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience
• Advanced project management and execution skills
• Experience of senior stakeholder management
• Project management with demonstrable results in improving IT services.
• Capacity Planning/Forecasting exposure a plus
• Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders.
• Agile experience
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results oriented.
• Good interpersonal, communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business, or a related field.
• Project management certification strongly preferred.
