Azure Cloud Services Specialist (Infrastructure)

Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Azure Cloud Services Specialist to join our Cloud Services team. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding and experience in Azure Cloud, with a focus on Virtual Machines, Management Groups/Security, Provisioning of Services, and VM’s Resource Tagging. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless deployment, configuration, and optimization of Azure cloud services within our organization.
Responsibilities:
• Azure Virtual Machines Management:
• Develop, deploy, and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) within Azure, ensuring optimal configuration, and performance.
• Monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of VMs.
• Management Groups/Security:
• Administer and maintain Azure Management Groups, implementing best practices for security and compliance.
• Design and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard information against unauthorized access, corruption, or loss.
• Provisioning of Services:
• Oversee and execute the provisioning of Azure services, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to assess, advise, and address their Azure service needs efficiently.
• VM’s Resource Tagging:
• Implement and manage resource tagging to ensure accurate tracking and allocation of Azure resources.
• Optimize resource allocation and usage through continuous monitoring and refinement of tagging strategies.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding Azure service deployments, configurations, and optimizations.
• Ensure all Azure deployments and services adhere to industry standards and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Azure cloud services, with specific knowledge in Virtual Machines, Management Groups/Security, and Provisioning of Services.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
Working Conditions:
• Standard office environment or remote, if applicable.
• Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours from Monday to Thursday.
